Who we're looking for

We are looking for an energetic Senior Manager, Credit Analytics to join our WeLab Bank team

What you will be doing

Support the Head of Credit on the strategic direction and operational daily credit risk management functions
Maintain the credit assessment frameworks, policies and controls across different areas including governance, credit approval, portfolio management, collection management, analytics framework and credit operation
Launch and monitor the lending product to ensure that the total credit risk (including counterparty credit risk) is within the risk appetite parameters
Liaison with the credit initiatives and work with other stakeholders (eg. Business, Operation, Technology, Finance, etc.) to grow the lending product in a healthy and sustainable manner
Conduct regular research to review retail lending credit policies and guidelines to ensure the company lending business grows healthily
Compile regular acquisition and portfolio MIS to ensure the performance is aligned with the budget expectation
Work on any ad hoc Credit related projects

What is required and what we’re looking for:

University Degree holder or above in Accounting, Finance, Mathematics, Risk Management, Statistics or a related field
10+ years of experience in banking industry, including experience in credit risk management of retail lending business, especially policy formulation and credit risk analysis
Programming Skills (eg. SAS and/or Python) is a must
Great problem-solving skills (proactive, leadership, flexible with strong analytical, interpersonal, negotiation) to help the Company to grow the lending business in a credit risk controllable manner
Strong technical experience in credit portfolio management of retail lending products
Experience in personal loan credit risk management is a must
Able to work in a dynamic and multinational culture and cope with high pressure
Excellent communication and project management skills
Ability to build effective relationships and liaise effectively with key business areas and management at all levels of the organisation
Have a strong desire to embrace and drive change with strong influencing ability
Any experience on the latest industry development such as fin-tech would be an added bonus
Candidate with less experience will be considered as Manager
