Shared-Impact Model

Our Shared-Impact Model evolved over a decade of working with some of Asia’s most committed social impact organizations. We noticed that many social impact organizations shared a vision for a better tomorrow, and similar challenges that slow their growth and impact. These organizations also often address problems independently, without effective communication or collaboration. These observations led to our development of our “Shared-Impact Model”, where goals and operations are synchronized, resources are maximized, and overlap and waste is minimized by connecting people with resources, information, and knowledge.

Community Connections

Community Connections is an FSI program that promotes our Shared-Impact Model through community building, and connecting corporate philanthropic resources with social impact organizations. It is a collaborative program connecting corporate employees with social impact organizations that seek directors, committee members, and skills-based volunteers, while providing training to equip corporate employees with leadership skills.

Impact Lab

Our connection with The University of Hong Kong places us at the forefront of youth empowerment. Combining hands-on business experience and exposure to social impact, our internship program future-proofs and increases the employability of university students by equipping them with practical work experiences and soft skills that are essential to their future career development. Meanwhile, the Impact Lab enables our partner companies to take on projects, issues or opportunities they otherwise would not have the capacity to pursue.

What We Do

FSI is a one-stop-shop for social impact. Our mission is to solve society’s most challenging problems through community building, collaboration, and sharing resources. How do we do that? We help high-impact organizations reach their full potential and scale their social impact toward addressing problems at the systemic level, by connecting them with impact-driven collaborators and funders. And we build a generation of leaders that will usher in the next iteration of impact- and purpose-driven capitalism, through a higher-education model that emphasizes impact-based learning.

Our Culture

We are a fast-growing social impact enabler with a culturally and gender-diverse team and board. Through our Shared-Impact philosophy, we are constantly striving to connect a wide range of subject matter experts, knowledge and resources with our portfolio of social impact organizations and others that are equally focused on youth empowerment, driving sustainable development, and systems change. We are passionate about collaborating for shared impact!
