Who we're looking for

WeLab is looking for an Assistant IT Audit Manager to join the team!

What you will be doing

Assist the Head of Internal Audit and senior IT audit manager to achieve internal audit objectives and effectively implement the IT audit approach / methodologies for the Welab Group
Support the Head of Internal Audit and senior IT audit manager to assess IT risk, formulate the annual audit plan, and execute IT audit engagements to evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of technology controls, make recommendations for improvement and constantly monitor high risk areas
Assist the Head of Internal Audit and senior IT audit manager in the planning of integrated audits and provide support in the review of related system controls and CAAT
Deliver high quality IT audit reports and system control issues in integrated audits in a timely manner
Prepare presentations, meeting papers and reports on emerging technology risks and IT audit themes for management reporting as and when directed
Promote IT control and risk awareness in the Welab Group
Follow up audit recommendations post-audit, assess residual risk, validate remedial work performed, document closing issues
Provide advice to stakeholders on strengthening control environment
Handle ad hoc independent reviews relating to IT controls and/or special investigations

What is required and what we’re looking for

Bachelor’s Degree or above in Information Technology or related discipline.
CISA or other related information security/auditing qualifications.
Sound knowledge of technology-related regulatory requirements both in China and Hong Kong.
5 years or above of IT audit or technology risk management experience from Big4, internal audit, risk or IT.
Hands-on experience in IT control or information security reviews.
Strong writing skills. Able to summarise and draw out key risk themes for management attention.
Self-motivated, result-oriented, capable of working independently as well as a good team player.
Able to work in a fast-paced environment and to prioritise and deliver high quality work
Excellent command of spoken and written English, Mandarin and Chinese
